I am an editor for montages on video games, i have recent ly learned over the past couple weeks how to time remap and use optical flow, the thing is when i use optical flow, and render it, it distorts the image; making the video look wavy, is there a way to fix this?

Optical flow is great technology but it has a hard time handling certain things. As you've noticed, at times it will distort moving parts of an image, often this looks like parts of the background being 'dragged' by the foreground moving object. 'Wavy' is a good description! It works well with moving images that have good separation from the background and not to much detail in the background. Nothing much you can do except switch to frame blending for problem shots. This is not nearly as good but will stop the issue you are seeing.

There is a great plugin called Twixtor and Twixtor Pro from RevisionFX. The advantage it has is being able to use masks and splines to 'guide' the software to 'know' what part of the image it should be tracking by separating it from the background. However it is NOT a set and forget plugin. It needs manual input. It's also best used in After Effects.
