Hey there. This just started happening in the last week or two. When I go to use Lumetri Color, the sliders all start all the way to the left as shown in the picture. There default values all show 0 as well. Then, at the slightest touch, the slider will jump all the way to the right and max out the value. So the slider does not work, and it only allows default, or max. no in between. I can adjust settings just fine by typing in the values, but this take way longer and i cant see the change gradually. Premiere is up to date, running 24.1.0 and my macbook is a 16" 2023 with an m2pro chip and 16gb of ram. Sometimes this issue happens and sometimes it doesn't. I have tried resetting my computer, resetting premiere, it just seems to happen when it feels like it.
Thanks.
Hello,
This bug was marked as fixed in 24.2. Please update to the current version to be clear of this bug. If you began your project prior to 24.2, you might try importing the old project into a new one from the current version. Let the community know if that advice helped. Sorry for the hassle.
Thanks,
Kevin
Hey there @getho,
Thanks for the note. I heard you are still experiencing a bug with Lumetri sliders all shifting to the left.
this bug has not been fixed!
Wasn't that fixed? I'm sorry about that. I'm not seeing that here. Are you using your existing presets? If so, that may be the culprit. Does the issue occur if you create a new project and a preset?
I hope we can help you with this issue.
Take Care,
Kevin

I am epxerincing the same issue as are many other users.
Here is a similar thread on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/premiere/comments/18j9dn5/lumetri_color_sliders_all_stuck_to_the_left_in/?r...
No one knows how to resolve. This is a terrible Premiere Pro bug.
Please provide us with an update.

PLEASE!
If you want best and fastest resolution of this problem, include the necessary data for any troubleshooting.
OS/system details, media used, any third party effects or plugins, and any other Premiere effects use.
Give enough data for the devs to find how to replicate the issue. Do NOT assume it is common and "everyone" has it, because most of us don't. Ergo, figuring out what specifically triggers it is a troubleshooting issue.
The more detailed data, the faster engineers can nail the sucker.

I've just encountered a similar issue.
All sliders in Lumetri are stuck to the left. I can see that the values are different (numbers in blue), but the sliders are all to the left. If is try to adjust any of the values immediately jump to 100 and the slider is useless. Changing the values works, however thats obviously very time consuming.
I was using a custom preset on most clips. No other PP effects and no third party effects or plugins.

As always for troubleshooting, please add OS/CPU/RAM/GPU, and Premiere Pro number and build version. And for something like this ... was the project file created in the current version you're using, or 'converted' by Premiere from an older version project?

Thanks Neil.
Today it seems that everything is working as it should.
The sliders are in the middle and the values represent slider postion.
Unsure if it is an intermittent issue or if the bug has been fixed.
If I have further issues, I will be sure to add the information that you suggested.

Amazing what odd behavior can pop up at times. Sigh. Hope it's gone ...

I agree with you but it's entirely Adobes fault for offering such an abysmal bug reporting method.
here's what they have:
Find a bug, in the software go to Help > Provide Feedback. Clicking this opens up this forum webpage where you can post a new thread. Nothing is automatically included (hardware info, software version etc).
here's what they need:
go to Help > Report a bug. This should open a window inside the software that allows you to type a description and/or include a screenshot of the issue, along with a box to check that says "include my system information with my bug report." Submit, done. They'll have everything they need to track down the problem.
If they're interested in making the bug reporting process more effecient, they need a complete overhaul of this system

There's some that have this only on older projects opened in 24.x, or Lumetri presets from previous versions.
There's a few having odd behavior from Lumetri resetting and such. It sounds like you're in the former group. Still, there's data needed for troubleshooting.
So ... is this on a new project created in the Pr 2024 version? Or a project updated to 2024?
Does it involve Lumetri presets you've carried forward?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I found a workaround. Close the Lumetri panel, deselect all clips in the timeline and finally reopen the panel. I hope it works for everyone.

I have the 24.5.0 and today just happened again. Actually the project that I used is a bit old, I couldn't say which version it was created with. Anyway I'll try to import it in a new project. Thanks for the advice.

I'm using 24.6.1 (Build 2) and this just started happening to me today. I created a new test project to correct it and that worked, but then within 30 minutes, the problem returned in the same project. Can this bug be looked into again please? I've been using this version for a week or so now and have only just started experiencing this bug this morning.

24.x is no longer the 'current shipping version' ... so although there may be bug fix updates over time, that's not nearly as high on the dev's list as working on the current 25.x version.
So you understand ...

Hi @Adelaid5E57 We are looking into this, Could you please share Premiere Pro version used and the machine config?
And is this happening with custom presets only? If yes, Is it possible for you to share the preset file as well?

Hi @Jagriti5CD5, Premiere Pro 24.1 and Mac Studio M1 Max, this is happening with all color, some without presets, some with, it is happening to every file within the project.

I have the same issue. it's happening with saved custom presets as well as empty lumetri settings when no lumetri effect is applied yet to a clip. changing the workspace or closing the lumetri panel or moving it does not fix the issue.
