I want to add Clip Name and Time Code to all the clips on a sequence. When I copy & Paste attributes, the scale of clip name and time code get totally messed up. Because some of the clips are resized. Is there a way to paste attributes (Clip name and Time code) without messing up its scaling so its size changes accordingly?

For adding a visual timecode to all clips in my sequence, I typically add a Transparent video layer on top of all clips below, adjust its length to the end of the sequence and simply apply the Timecode effect to that layer. Next you set the Timecode effect to generate, to get the timecode running from 00:00:00:00.
Hope this is the effect you are looking for.
As for Clip Name, I have no idea...
Hope this helps (somewhat).

Thank you so much for the reply! Actually what I am trying to put is source timecode and it's not a timecode for the sequence, so each clip has a different timecode. Does it work for this case?

I believe Source Timecode is an option for the Overlay.

the Paste attributes feature give you options to determine which parameters you want to include.
You can check or uncheck motion, filters, etc.

Thank you for the response! I only select "Timecode" and "Clip Name" effects when pasting attributes but the size of timecode and clip name always get messed up. Not for all the clips but for the ones that are resized. Does it make sense?
Thank you!

kamiyay,
Do you just need to see overlays, or are you wanting to export clips with BITC and clip name?
Thanks,
Kevin

I would probably do this via the Overlay settings.
