Premier pro not playing audio

Hello.

I have seen many posts on this topic, but none of them seemed to help me with my problem. When I played my video, the video itself was fine, but there was no audio. The bars showed up on the mixer, but no sound played. I have tried clearing my media cache, changing my audio hardware, etc. None of the solutions worked, so it would be great if someone could help me with my problem. Thanks in advance. If it matters, I am using the creative cloud version of premier pro 2021.

oh, and also, i have tried changing the input to none, so that is why it is turned off.

I have a similar issue. My sound keeps muting when I leave my editing for a short while, and/or I just opened up my project from scratch and no audio, it comes back when I > file > exit and reopen. Audio hardware SS attached. When I open audio hardware it tells me in Default output (not working) but clears on restart.
