Premiere 13.0 Crashing | No Crash Report Given

Community Beginner ,
Oct 23, 2018 Oct 23, 2018

Premiere has crashed twice today in one hour.

Low usage compared to what I normally do, just sorting through footage getting screenshots.

The program crashes and no crash report is given whatsoever.

UPDATE: My computer has now crashed 3 times. Instant crash, no loading or warning. No crash files.

This is seriously messing with my work now. This needs to be fixed.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

I have it updated to the latest driver— but a graphics card dysfunction shouldn't make my whole system crash, do you think?

I gather you are on 2019.

Try and roll one or two drivers back your system is not a spring chicken anymore.

dont go beyond 411.63.

Trying this now— can you explain your reasoning behind this suggestion?

I believe Ann has suggested that because older graphics cards like yours sometimes do not behave well with the newer drivers.  And yes, driver problems can cause a system crash.

Applied the suggestion yesterday— computer crashed while editing again today... Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Any other possible solutions? I think I'm just going to roll back Premiere to the previous version, but that is a huge shame since one of Adobe's claims to fame for this rollout was better system stability.
