I updatet Premier from 2019 to 2020 version. Each time I open the app it crashes immediatly after showing the "opening picture" and not opening the actual app.

- Deinstalling 2020  and reinstalling 2019 didn't help.

- Restarting computer didn't help.

- Holding down 'option' during launch didn't help.

What can I do? Screen Shot 2019-11-09 at 3.54.26 PM.png

Hi Graue,

Check out some troubleshooting steps here.

Particularly, look into repairing R/W permissions, which should be done every time you update macOS, in my opinion.

Hopefully you will launch after performing these steps. If none of those things work, try creating a new user account. It could be corrupt. Your computer should launch Premiere Pro after these steps.

Once up and running, you should be aware that you are no longer meeting minimum system requirements.

Your GPU is not powerful enough at 1.5 GB VRAM (2 GB Required) and you have a 2nd gen CPU (6th required).

My recommendation is to use the proxy workflow until you purchase new hardware.

Hope this info helps. Let us know if any of these steps help.

Thanks,
Kevin
