I'm working on a somewhat complicated project using files from a variety of sources and premiere consistently crashes during a variety of operations. It's not as unstable as 24 was but it's far from the amazing stability of 23.

Here's an update. Having the text panel open during editng increases the number of crashes significantly. Closing the text panel increases stability. BUT, the timeline stalls (freezes) once every ten minutes or so. It seems like it's a crash but if you give it 2-3 minutes it comes back online. Adobe folks - this is a GREAT test context. I worked on this project in v23 for two weeks and had none of the issues listed above. Same project in v25 surfaced all of these issues. Also, tried turning off GPU, rehoming the project on my desktop, no change in stability

I'm experiencing the same. In my case the culprit is mostly warp stabilizer, and maybe warp stabilizer on nested clips. The preview monitor freezes, project crashes a few minutes after that. Never recovers. (v25)
Also on complex projects with many sources and sequences.
One fix i found was deleting the cache every 20 mins, for 40 mins project crashes constantly, I delete the cache with no projects open, maybe copy and duplicate the clip and I don't start the preview on the part where crashes happened before.
I also noticed that if I try to close the application in export window, it becomes unresponsive and only way to close it is to kill the process or wait for Windows 11 to show the "this program is not responding" prompt. Only happened two times while the preview was stuck and I realized I forgot to clear cache before loading my project. Unable to replicate or test due to the deadlines.
V25 feels like an alpha version and we are the QC testers.

Thanks Ian.
Issue: Premiere 25.0.0 freezes every 5-10 minutes. I wait for 2-3 minnutes and it unfreezes. During the freeze period my entire system (from browser to word doc to outlook) becomes semi locked. As soon as premiere unfreezes every other application unfreezes. This will happen several times throughout the workday. I was working on the same project on 23.6.9 until i updated it to 25.0.0 and there were zero issues.

System stability is a real issue for Premiere as a product. 23.6.9 is completely stable. 24 & 25 are as unstable as much earlier iterations of premiere. In the past you developed workflows that accounted for assumed instability and we're back in that territory again.

Hi @lot 7 media - Can you try updating your studio driver I believe the current version is 565.90. Do you have any plugins installed? Are you using the transcription feature? Can you try navigating to your preferences and go to Transcription then turn off auto transcription. Please let us know if any of these steps help your issue?
