Premiere keeps losing link to After Effects media

Premiere keeps losing link to After Effects media after making changes and saving in AE? Normally these changes should push through, but I'm having to re-link them each time... Halp!

For reference, I'm adding the AE elements to the project via dag n drop...

Thanks for the message. I appreciate the information. The issue does seem odd. The thing to check is to make sure that the applications are updated to the same version, version 25.x, for example. Is that the case? Let the community know.

AE needed an update, and it seems to have fixed the problem so far 🙂

Scratch that, just saved again and Premiere has lost the link 😞

Can you test it out with a new project @ScooterD76? Let me know if that works or not.

That was the answer -  I did update AE but the old version was running and the AE project was also the former version. All is well! thank you for the help 🙂
