Hi guys, my first time posting here.
I'm experiencing some really weird issues with Premiere. Everything loads and works fine... until I either right-click on something, or try to open any menu. It doesn't matter if I access the menu by mouse or keyboard shortcut - the result is the same. I've recorded a video here:
The screen goes 'broken' - menu items are barely outlined and weird, twiching lines, shapes and colours appear all across the screen.
In the video above you'll see - if I switch to other apps, the same thing still happens when I try to access their menus.
But as soon as I quit Premiere, everything immediately goes back to normal.
I've searched everywhere on the web for this, but haven't found anyone having the same glitch.
I'm running this on an Macbook Pro, and all the other Creative Suite apps run absolutely fine on it. I've never had a problem.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere, and even other apps. Below are my system specs.
I've upgraded to the latest Catalina OS version, but this was happening on Mojave too.
I'll be so so happy if anyone can help me here! Thanks guys. 🙂

I have the exact same issue. Just installed Premier on my late 2013 MBP. Any time I try to open a menu or right click in the panels, I get the same diagonal flickering and all menus display as a semi-transparent, blown-up magenta color.

It's apparently an OS issue, it happens in FCP-X too.
Go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display. Make sure increase contrast and reduce transparency are switched off. If they are already off, try toggling them.

I'm weirdly relieved that I wasn't the only one, as I'd trawled the internet for days and couldn't find anyone with the same issue.
I'd originally thought it was my graphics card and 'fixed' it by changing playback render to 'Software only', under Project Settings, which I'd made a shortcut for. So I was basically using just the software to render everything and it kind of worked but was very slow and laggy.
But after reading Meg's comment above, I tried what she said and this seems to have fixed everything!!!! I want to dance!! :sunflower:
