Premiere Pro 2020 crashes upon using titles in Essential Graphics

I'm running the latest version of Premiere Pro 2020 (just uninstalled/reinstalled it) on a 2015 MacBook Pro, Quad Core Intel Core i7, 2.8 ghz, 16 gb RAM,  running Catalina v 10.15.5 (also just updated to see it that would fix things). Every time I try to layer in a title (just "Basic title") from Essential Graphics, as soon as I go to edit the title the program crashes (see dialogue boxes).

Anyone else encountering this problem?

Thanks

I've embedded those in the reply above... any thoughts on how to correct this? It appears to only be an issue using titles in Essential Graphics; and it may only be an issue in trying to change the font from default to something else, as today I was able to insert and adjust a title, so long as i left the default font in place

The text font seems to be empty.

Maybe an odd font was used?

I was using Frutiger, which I've used successfully with Premiere Pro for years. It's a font that's been in my system for a long time. Should I try deleting the Frutiger I have in there now and downloading new Adobe Fonts?
