Hi,
Since I've made the update to Premiere Pro 2025 the software doesn't launch anymore.
I get the initial Premiere Pro animation and then nothing happens.
I've followed all the troubleshoot steps of this video and nothing appears to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN15vATP_kQ
Can anyone help me with that?
(I know there's some people with the same problem here but I don't find any successful case...)
Thanks!
Welcome to the forums. Thanks for submitting your bug report. Can you start it up by holding down shift, or does that also not work? Can you give me more details about your Mac? We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see: How do I write a bug report? Sorry for the frustration and thanks for reaching out.

When you get the crash dialogue, can you please choose to send the report to Adobe? I can use your email to look up the crash, and we can better understand what's going on.

Hi @Rach McIntire ,
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, I've tried the Shift options and none had worked.
I have a Macbook Pro 16'' (nov 2023) with M3 Pro chip, 18GB RAM, 500GB storage, with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Hi @Rach McIntire ,
Any news about that? I'm still having the same issue...

Hi @Alberto23264258y7cn,
Unfortunately, I don't have enough info to reproduce this issue. Please see: How do I write a bug report? and provide all the information. Thanks.

Hi @Alberto23264258y7cn,
What type of media are you working with? 18GB of RAM is on the low end of what Adobe recommends. Are you able to install and run the Beta version? That will give us some information if that launches.

Hi @Rach McIntire ,
I'm not able to work with any type of media, since the software doesn't open up...
I've installed the Beta version and I got the same result: the initial animation appears but then nothing happens and Premiere doesn't open.

Are you running any antivirus software? Check that Premiere Pro has permissions.

Well, that at least eliminates one potential cause of the problem. Are you able to open other Adobe Apps successfully? If you feel comfortable, you may want to try using our Cleaner Tool to clean up any corrupt installation files. Are you able to capture a screen recording of what happens when you open it? I'm sorry this is causing so much havoc for you.

Hi @Rach McIntire ,
I run the CleanerTool and reinstall Adobe Premiere 2025. Nothing appears to change.
Following you have a screen recording of the (not) opening process of Premiere 2025.
