Hi,

I received almost ready 4-6 camera multicam show to finish and it is a struggle. Very slow performance and strange hiccups with Premiere Pro 23.4 & 23.5. Playback turns suddenly very sluggish, essential graphics take 3 seconds to update if I change a letter and worst of all the multicam view disappears randomly during editing (see attached screenshot).multicam glitch.png Only way to get it back is to toggle track output "eye" on and off.  This happens in almost every 30 seconds.

Turned on and off "hardware accelerated decoding", cleaned media cache which is on internal mac drive, installed 23.4. Tested with laptop screen and external 4k monitor. No success.

System:

Premiere Pro 234 & 23.5

Macbook Pro M1 Max 64 gb memory (52 gb reserved for Premiere)

 MAC OS Ventura 13.4.1.

External (usb-c) Sandisk Extreme 4tb SSD hard drive formatted to EXFAT (read 855, write 724 MB/s)

Dell U3219q monitor with usb-c, resolution 3200x1800

Media:

mix of Sony mxf and Gopro files, 1920x1080

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have this same problem on a very similar Mac Studio setup. In some timelines the multicam view disappears after making any edits at all which requires switching multicam view off and then back on again to get it to work.
