I'm working on a project right now where I'm using both premiere and after effects. The composition that I made in after effects is 1920 x 1440, it looks how it's supposed to look in after effects but when it is in premiere it's wider than it should be.
For comparison, I have an earlier version of the composition that I made that has the perfect width and height in premiere.
Older version:
New version:
Both these comps are 1920 x 1440, the new one is the same width and height as the old one, but it looks stretched out when in premiere. I need to use the new composition and I don't know why it looks like this, can someone explain how I can get it to look like the older comp.
I figured out what the problem was,
Both the AE comp and the premiere sequence were 1920 x 1440, but my AE comp was set to widescreen. I set it to "Square pixels" which seemed to solve the problem as it looked how I wanted it to when I imported it to premiere. I had to adjust some of the layers in the composition to fit, but it all seems to be working now.
Thank you for your help.

I'm sorry, I probably didn't go into much detail, but this is what the comp looks like in after effects:
It is 1920 x 1440 but when I import it to premiere it's a lot wider than how it is in After effects (even when I select "change sequence settings).

Hi KeeneK,
Please set Comp to "FULL" size in After Effects. This is a known issue we're working on right now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
Kevin

How do I set the comp to "full"? It doesn't seem clear to me.

I'm confused, I had already done this, but when I import my comp into after effects, it's still in the wrong resolution.

Do both comps have the same PAR?
Check the PAR correction button in AE (6th on the right).
Does the Pr sequence match the AE comp?
