Premiere Pro CC 2018: Closed Captions Appear Where They Shouldn't Be

Hello,

I have added closed captions to my video, but there is an area where one caption still appears where it shouldn't be. I've attached a photo below to better visually explain what I mean. As you can see, there is a closed caption with the words "Ahhh!" displaying in my video. However, I don't have a closed caption marked in that area set for it to display. In fact, I've marked my closed captions to where I want them. For some reason, this error happens only at this particular mark within my project. This is really odd, and I have yet to see any forum discussions related to this issue. I would sincerely appreciate any help, please!

Have you saved and reopened the project?

In your image, you don't have the CTI at the time it indicates, so we don't see it in the timeline. Does it show there?

How have you tried to delete it?

Stan,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

In answer to your first question, yes, I have saved and tried reopening the project.

I've attached an image below for you here with the CTI at the indicated time on the timeline. And yes, I've also tried deleting the caption, and have tried adding a new one back in. Still no luck. The previous image in my first post is meant to visually show you that the closed caption keeps appearing even despite me setting it to a timed position. I'm not sure what the issue could be...

Sent you a PM asking if you wanted me to look at your project file.

Definitely something odd: in the screenshot, the CTI is not over a caption, but "Ahhh!" is visible in the program monitor.
