I am working on a new project on my external hard drive, and when I specify the destination of the project, Premiere will open up with the regular window pane. Next, I create a new sequence for my project, and I save it. Afterward, I import my video(s) to my project and then add them to the timeline. The file format is .mp4. After selecting the IN and OUT markers in the timeline, I want to render the clips. When rendering the clips, I get the following Error Compiling Movie message below. Does anyone know the workaround?

Thank you in advance!

Thank you John,

None of those worked, unfortunately. Still getting the same error message.

Hi drakeba11,

Sorry for your issue!

What's the exact version of Premiere Pro that you're using? FAQ: How to find the exact version of Premiere Pro you're using?

What kind of a computer do you have? Which OS?

What is the format of your video previews? You can find that under Sequence > Sequence Settings > Video Previews

As a troubleshooting step, try changing the Preview File Format of your sequence. I'd prefer GoPro CineForm.

Step 5 - Step 11 in this article are great for troubleshooting: How to fix issues that cause errors when rendering or exporting

I'm surprised they didn't help you.

Let us know if changing the preview format helps.

Turn off Composite in linear color, see how that goes.
