Premiere Pro CC Preview problem when resizing clips

I'm using Premiere Pro CC 2015. I have this extremely annoying problem. Whenever I resize a video clip by dragging either side, it adds a black preview next to my main preview, and then freezes my ability to play through the timeline. The preview goes back to a single view and turns light gray. Then i have to restart premiere.

In order to work around this I have to play the timeline whenever i resize clips. Heres what it looks like when i resize a clip. Does anyone know how to make it so i can resize clips without this extra preview showing up and messing up premiere?

HI Vihtic,

Sorry for the inconvenience. It seems like an issue with GPU renderer or GPU driver.

Change the renderer in Project settings & test. File > Project Settings > General > renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software only.

Have you tried to update the GPU drivers?

Thanks,

Vidya.
