Time to celebrate, Premiere Pro community!
Welcome back to the Premiere Pro community digest. This article is the monthly newsletter for the Premiere Pro community. Why are we celebrating? Well, we have a new version of Premiere Pro that was just released for one! We also just wrapped out our annual conference, Adobe MAX. This MAX was the first in a couple of years of being virtual. It was great connecting with community members once more.

Adobe MAX sessions now online!
Did you attend Adobe MAX virtually or in person in Los Angeles this year? I sure hope so! With 200+ sessions and hundreds of inspiring speakers, MAX 2022 was a fantastic event. It was a privilege to have attended and met many of you there in the Community Pavilion and at the Adobe Community Experts Gathering. Read about the experience that creators had at Adobe MAX 2022 here.
Viewing the best sessions on demand, you can still experience this global celebration of creativity. Join the mailing list to stay informed about all things MAX.
View video sessions from the conference streaming from the Adobe MAX website. See this link for seminars from the video track and Premiere Pro. Featured presenters specializing in Premiere Pro include Richard Harrington, Luisa Winters, Nick Harauz, Josh Olufemii, and Abba Shapiro.

Adobe Community Expert Highlight
Featured Adobe Community Expert - Byron Cortez
Byron Cortez
It's time to present our featured Adobe Community Expert for the month, Byron Cortez. Byron has been a community member for over five years, written over 2,371 posts with a high percentage of "Likes," and accepted solutions from users like you. Byron and I chatted, and he told me a bit about himself. Here's what he wrote:
"I'm Byron Cortez, Ecuadorian. I work as a Technical Manager of the Audiovisual Production Center of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication of the ESPOL University in Guayaquil. I graduated from the same institution with a Master's in Digital Audiovisual Postproduction.
My badges are Adobe Creative Educator, Adobe Certified Expert in After Effects and Premiere Pro, Adobe Community Expert, and Adobe Speaker in Webinars for Adobe Latin America. I also have two Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve certifications.
I have more than 21 years of experience in audiovisual and post-production environments. For several years I have been teaching face-to-face and online workshops on on-demand course platforms in Crehana with about 28K students in my course "Premiere Pro Desde Cero," on Udemy with "After Effects Completo y Desde Cero" and my YouTube channel which is constantly growing where I post my video tutorials and tips.
One of my hobbies is Commercial Announcement, which has become another of my passions, and for this reason, I have done some important work for companies in my country.
When I applied to be an Adobe Community Expert, I had no idea of the benefits that Adobe gives us (I swear); I did it because I really like to teach and help people in the area, and what better way than to do it globally in the forums of the Adobe community. When I received the email with the benefits, that was great! 🙂
My motto in the Adobe Community Forums is "There is no wrong answer if the intention is to help." Thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful community! 🙂"
Some of Byron's Tutorials de Premiere Pro on YouTube (in Spanish):
- Limpieza de Golpe de Viento con Audio Espectral
- Efecto Eco en Premiere Pro
- Speech to Text⎪Transcripción de voz a texto
We appreciate your expertise here on the forums, Byron. The Premiere Pro community thanks you for all your energy and intellect. Have you ever been helped by Byron? If so, drop him a note here if you have time.
