I can't seem to export a 11 minute video without premiere crashing. It starts to export then after like 3 minutes it just freezes then kicks me out of the program. I Tried doing all the steps of like deleting old media cache files, and that other stuff, but it won't stop. I've even tried just exporting segments at a time, but even exporting like 4 minutes of the video won't work. I have enough storage on my pc, i'm just so lost. I want to install an older version of premiere pro, but i don't know if my project will save to there if i delete premiere and then install an older version. I'm just so lost

We can’t be much help without more information about your media, sequences, and computer specs.

For something like this, I recommend isolating the point in your timeline that’s causing the crash. Here’s a process that might help:

  1. Export half of your timeline—did it crash?
  2. If yes, export half of that portion. If no, export the other half.
  3. Continue this process until you can pinpoint the position that’s causing the crash—it may be an effect or some corrupt media.
