Premiere Pro CS6 not importing multiple tracks

Hi there,

I do let's plays over on my YouTube and for a while I've wanted to set up multi track recordings with the advanced tab in OBS, gameplay coming from track 1 and mic audio coming from track 2. I set it up today, and when I check in VLC I can see that it has two tracks, separated into game audio and mic audio.

The problem is when I go to import it into Premiere Pro CS6 is that it only imports track 1. I cannot figure out how to get it to import both of them. I have made sure that all the settings in OBS are correct, multiple tracks are set up, set to stereo, they show up in VLC, but just not in Premiere Pro.

I have looked around for solutions and I have tried making a new sequence and going to the video and going to modify > audio channels. It just says there is 1 track when there isn't. So I was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

Thank you for any help you're able to provide, I really appreciate it.

Hi @Andy37600580mpa8,

Look into demuxing these audio streams and then reimport. Premiere Pro cannot do this for you, unfortunately. I hope the info helps.

Thanks,
Kevin
