When editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, it doesn't pause on playback, full-screen or composite. The pause originally clicked for can take up to 1min or more to occur. The "No-Pause Experience" especially happens after the first 60secs of video playback, but while less often, it can even occur within the first 60secs as well. This is the first video I've attempted to edit on this device. I just bought it like a week ago as a significant upgrade over my previous device, which did not have this issue.

Attempted Solutions
Hi @AJ2883275146ff -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?
What specific version of Premiere Pro are you on?
What specific GPU driver do you have installed?
Can you check your audio hardware settings and make sure Default Input is set to "No Input"
Do you have any third party plugins or panels installed?
Sorry for the frustration.

Hi Jamie,
Thanks for your response. I have the details you asked about down below.
Application Version
Latest (25.2.3 Build 4)
GPU Driver
Latest (32.0.15.6626)
Audio Settings
I already placed my Audio Hardware Input settings as "No Input" earlier after reading some other people's solutions from several years ago. No additional third-party plugins or panels are installed.
Working, But Still...
Just now, I found a workaround, but I still don't feel like the application is functioning correctly. It's slugglish. Sometimes it takes a long time for the previews to show up to be able to edit, occasionally stuttering playback, and other things like thumbnails for clips/text/images disappeared causing me to have to duplicate the project to another sequence. I never experienced any of these things before. To put things into perspective, my previous system was a Lenovo Ideapad 550i, so I was expecting much better considering the spec increase of my new setup.
The Workaround
I mentioned a workaround above; here's what I did. I narrowed down the issue to be stemming from one video. I took the clips of the video I needed, dropped them into a new sequence, exported them, and put them back into the main sequence. After that, I deleted the original clips, and the video file itself from the project panel.
I don't understand what's wrong with the original video, aside from it just being kind of long. I edited from the same video on another project, using the previous system, two months ago without issue.
If you have any idea of what else might be behind any of these experiences please let me know.
Kindest Regards
