Premiere Pro Effects Not Working

Although I'm trying to add some effects in the footage or adjustment layer, doesn't work even brightness or contract. I'd tried to uninstall and reinstall it. It doesn't work. What's the problem with the effects in premiere pro. Even After Effect work the lumetri color effect but the premiere pro not. Please someone explane it. I would thank u alot. I don't know what to do.

Toggle the Global Effects Mute OFF as seen in the picture

Thank you lol! Global Effect Mute was on. Was trying to solve this last night!
