Hi! I have recently been having an issue when I export my project. It says that I have offline media but I don't in my timeline. My video renders but most of it is black and it makes me relocate my files after it is done rendering. After relocating my files and rendering again the same problem happens. This problem has also caused my color grade to change! I have had to redo my color grade several times and am extremely frustrated. Thank you!
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
I realize you are frustrated, but I cannot tell what's going on in your computer from your post. And for basic troubleshooting, always give OS/CPU/RAM/GPU, probably GPU driver; plus the media in use, both the format/codec and what created it, and what sort of drive it is stored on, SSD or spinning disc, and the connection of that drive ... internal or external.
Then any effects used or third-party plugins/apps "touching" that media.
Finally, specific steps you take that get X result.
Then we'd be able to help. Right now, I can only make wild guesses, wasting my time and yours.
64gbs of RAM, AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 12-core processor, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. I am using footage from a Sony FX3 and the codec is XAVC S-I 4K. All of my footage and assets are stored in a Sony T9 external SSD. No third-party effects are used in this project. I am selecting in and out areas and exporting in the media encoder to a h.264 custom preset.
External drives aren't ideal, but I know necessary at times. And unless the drives are correctly recognized by the system, having reconnecting issues is to be expected. So make sure Windows is using a regular drive "name" ... D, E, whatever.
Next, that rig doesn't have any long-GOP hardware, so some of your media and your exports will take serious resources.
I have had this happen before. Here is what I tried.

I opened the Media Encoder and transcoded the video files to a different format and then replaced the media. You can also do this directly in Premiere. Similar to creating proxies. > I don't use Windows, but on OSX, you should try rewriting the directory on that particular drive if it is external. > The last suggestion would be to export by sending it to Media Encoder rather than a straight premiere export.
All of these have worked for me on different projects. I personally believe that it is more about the drive or files used than it is a Premiere issue.
