Premiere Pro freezing my pc

My laptop for work uses Intel Arc and Nvidia. I have followed another ticket on this community where it said to clean uninstall using DDU and download the latest Intel drivers. I did it, the "incompatible" warning left but it still crashes my pc. Why is that?? Why can't Adobe work with Intel arc? It's been out for a while now, please fix this mess!!

I got a remote agent from Adobe to help and control the machine. He did indeed disable the Intel Arc GPU and it was all good. He then went in to Update the driver and chose one locally, the most recent one. It seems to be fixed now. What I fear though is that Windows is automatically overwriting the driver version. I will test again when I restart and in a few days. Just seems a bit strange!

Hi @Synthoras9292 - Thanks for the update glad to hear things are working better after updating the driver. You’re absolutely right to be cautious: Windows can sometimes overwrite GPU drivers with its own versions through automatic updates.

Hi @Synthoras9292 -  Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How to Report a Problem.

The easiest way to identify which GPU is causing the issue is to go to Device Manager > Display Adapters and temporarily disable either the integrated GPU (iGPU) or discrete GPU (dGPU) one at a time. This can help isolate the problem.

Sorry for the frustration.
