Premiere Pro Glitch

Help Needed Please! 

I'm not sure why my computer keeps doing this. When I playback my video in Premiere Pro, I get a terrible glitch that ruins my editing process and its not going away. My computer specs are below:

M1 mackbook pro 2020 

Processor: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

Memory: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB

This happening for a while now. Any advice would help.
