Hello,

This has been an issue ever since I got Premiere Pro. Every time I ask for help, it sometimes fixes it self but always eventually goes back to breaking. I have no clue whats going on but when I try to play, sometimes the playback is completely damaged. The audio levels lag, the screen is blank and the playback doesn't move. I'm using Windows 10 (64-bit) Custom Build PC. GTX 1060 (all drivers updated) Core i7 and 32 GB of memory. Here is a video.

Here are some of the settings. Like I said, it works on and off. The video was actually rendered in the PP, I just couldn't see or edit.

Sincerely,

Kyle Allen

Two things that I would do differently are using standard audio rather than USB, and dropping down to one monitor.

I have 2 monitors but only use it on 1. As for USB, that's my primary interface (Scarlet 2i2) since I make music for a living.

Premiere Pro does often present issues when using USB audio, though.  There are professional audio solutions out there without using the finicky USB interface.

Additionally, there are sometimes issues that only occur when more than one monitor is hooked up.  Just being connected is often the cause.

If nothing else, 'correcting' these two issue is a worthwhile test.

Hi Kyle Allen,

Sorry for the issue. Have you tried to change the renderer to "software only" mode in Project settings? Please check for a test.

Thanks,

Vidya.

Sadly yes, I've tried everything. The only thing that fixes this is reinstalling it. It always comes back though. I went ahead an reinstalled the program again (fixed it) and when it comes back I'll be sure to update this forum post.
