So, i updated PP to Version 24.0 today but that was possibly the worst idea ive ever had because PP is just not working anymore. I was working on a Wedding Video today and PP felt extremly laggy and was not performing really well so i thought updating it to 24.0 might fix is together with updating my GPU Driver. After the updates i tried to open my Wedding Project but not all of a sudden PP is giving me the Notification that there is not enough systemspace for PP but that notification was not appearing before the update. When i click "OK" on that Notification i get get blackscreens on both of my Monitors and my second monitor will shut down completly and windows wont recognize it anymore until i restart my computer. The next Problem is that most of my Videoclips are not flagged as "Offline" but i didnt changed any directions on my hard drives, everything is at the same location as before and when i try to relink the media i get the error " a generic error occured" and when i click ok i get 40 error codes that some frames couldnt load etc. When i go back to PP Version23.6 or older it still appears every damn time i start PP and when i dont get blackscreens after starting PP it will just crash without any error or notification. I reinstalled PP now 5 times today, went to all possible versions there are but nothing is helping, even when i open a new project and start to import all of my wedding shots. nothing will work. it will always says "a generic error occured". Please please please help me. i literally cant work right now.

@Felix284463599exg I'm sorry that's happening – is it possible your system hard disk is close to filling up on space? If so then maybe downloading and installing the new version took it right up to the point of being full. If you drive is full and Premiere Pro is unable to write and read cache files as expected, that might lead to symptoms like what you are describing. Check the free space on your system drive and make sure it's at least 5-10% free space.

premiere pro is installed on my 2 TB Hard Drive where over 500GB free space, so i dont know why PP is saying that systemspace is nearly full, the only hard drive that has not that much space left over is my c hard drive where windows is installed on but i dont know why PP should use my C Hard Drive for any reason or does PP need space on C? i also get this error 300 times when i open the project "a low level exception occurred in importer mpeg importer 39"

@Felix284463599exg Premiere Pro uses a media cache system to have a local database of media files to reference which speeds up project loading, playback, and many other things. It's possible that even with Premiere Pro installed on a separate drive, your media cache location is still set to the default location on the C drive. You can verify this in Preferences > Media Cache.
In those preferences you can clear out the media cache and also choose to save it to a different location where it will rebuild as needed. We recommend using a fast SSD for the media cache as the whole point is to have very quick access to the cache to speed up operations.
Regardless of where your Media Cache is located, it's still important to have 5-10% free space on your C drive just for normal system operation.

So i just finished deleting old junk of off every ssd i have in my pc. i also deleted all adobe appdata files on my C wich where over 100gb. i deleted premiere pro 23 and 24. deleted creative cloud. deleted all the files attached to this programms.deleted chache files everywhere, reinstalled everything. opened Premiere Pro just to have this error : "The selected file cannot be linked because it has 1 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 2 audio channel(s) with a different channel type"
I got reaaaaaaaaaaalllllyyyyy frustaded again but i took a deep breath and searched for another 2 hours to find this thread from users who have the exact same problem : https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/adobe-premiere-pro-cannot-link-familiar-file...
i tried every workaround or fix. Finally after 4 days of investigating this issue i found a fix. i had to mark every of the 129 clips who where "unreadable" anymore for premiere pro as "offline" and had to relink EVERY SINGLE VIDEO manually to get them working again. I dont want to say this but its kind of annyoing that we all pay 20 or more euros a month for Premiere Pro and we still run into stuff like this wich is appearing for the last 3 years as seen in the forum posts. Please Work on a fix for this proxy problem because this is killing projects and at the end of the day, we have to tell our customers that they have to wait another 2 weeks for their video because we run into the same bugs ever now and then.

Hi Felix, I'm in the same conditions but every time I try to open my project premiere crush instantly cause RAM (32Gb) and CPU goes full 100% of usage.
So I'm trying your method but I have just 5-6 seconds to operate then premiere goes off and ciao.
Any help from this chat, please
