Hey,

I am editing on a m1max macbook and keep getting glitches in the timeline which the program also exports. It's not possible to edit like this.

Trying the new beta version is not helping and also software export is not helping.

Please see the glitch, picture information and mac info attached.

Can anybody help please? I have no idea what to do. 2.png3.png1.png

Footage is variable framerate which can cause issues.

Convert to constant framerate with Shutter Encoder before importing into Premiere.

Use MediaInfo  (treeview)  to determine the properties of a clip.

actually its an essential graphic, that causes this issue. If i turn it off I don't have any glitches in export/timeline.

Any idea how to fix this?

The Properties you posted were for an .mp4 file (as Ann referenced), not an essential graphic.

If you disable the essential graphic in the timeline, does the problem disappear?

If you output to another format (OP1A MXF, or basically anything other than .mp4) does the problem disappear?

Tagging a post with literally every possible tag, instead of those relevant to the actual problem you're experiencing, is NOT a good way to get help.

Hey,

yes if I turn off the Essential Graphic everything is fine and I don't have any problem.

The format I export it to doesn't change the glitch, I've tried everything in the past...

Cool, that narrows it down quite a bit!

How was that essential graphic created? For testing purposes, could you replace it with a completely different essential graphic, and see whether the new graphic renders successfully?

Yeah, that's macro-blocking like crazy.

In the Finder, right-click the MP4 file and choose Encode Selected Video Files.  When the options dialog box appears, choose ProRes.

Inspect the resulting ProRes clip for macro-blocking using QuickLook or QuickTime Player.

Import the resulting file into Premiere Pro and create a new Sequence from the source ProRes clip (right-click the ProRes clip in the Project tab or Bin tab and choose "New Sequence from Clip").

Add the Essential Graphic and export.  You should be able to go directly to your delivery format, but it may not hurt to export to "Match Sequence preview settings" (that is, ProRes) first.
