Premiere Pro v25.1 Keeps Crashing

New Here ,
Mar 10, 2025 Mar 10, 2025

I’ve been experiencing a recurring crash issue with Premiere Pro. As soon as I open the program and load my Premiere Production project, the editing screen appears but immediately freezes. I can’t access any menus or click anything within the program.

The closest I’ve gotten to a fix was uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro. It worked briefly (about five minutes) before crashing again and repeating the issue.

I’m running Premiere Pro on a Mac Studio with more than enough power to handle the software. It has been running perfectly for the past five months until now.

Any suggestions on a fix?

Hi @Serendipitous_view5FC7,

Thanks for the question and welcome to the forum. I would press Shift at Launch and try options in the Reset Options dialog box, especially resetting preferences and deleting the media cache. Keep in mind that you may lose customizations by doing so. I hope the advice helps.

Thanks,
Kevin
