I have an mxf clip that was edited in FCPX. It plays back fine there, as well in quicktime, however when imported into Premiere there is a playback glitch. It's not my system. Three different systems, both Mac and PC see the glitch when played through Premiere. I was told by someone who creates encoding software that Premiere has it's own playback engine for mxf files, and he suspects that it's a bug because he examined my clip and didn't see anything wrong with it.
This is messing up my workflow big time, becaue these edits I create playback well in everything except Premiere. I'm using the latest version of Premiere on a 2018 mbp with the lastest os, plenty of ram and the Radeon Pro Vega 20 gpu with 4gb of memory, but again, this same glitch happened on three different systems, so it isn't the computer.
Any advice would be appreciated.
