Preview screen freeze

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

So, since weeks ago I'm having this trouble with Premire Pro. It's totally impossible to edit like this.

As you can see in the video below, when I try to see the preview the screen do that strange things. Always in different ways, and worst. Don't know what to do, but even when I export, it doesn't export good.

Thanks!

Try changing GPU acceleration Mercury Playback Engine to another that you current set, in menu File / Project Settings / General... / Renderer:

Whenever I am having trouble like this I try two things. First I run the footage through Handbrake and convert the frame rate from Variable to Constent. Or I transcode the footage to an intermediate codec for editing; I'm on macOS so I usually use ProRes 422.

Can you post what version of Premiere Pro you are using? And what computer specs you have? And information about the video clips you are using in your edit? We need more information to help you.

Hi back and thanks for the reply!

Premiere version: 14.0

PC Specs: Intel i7-8650U, 16GB, 500GB SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 620

Vídeo: Recorded with iPhone 8 Plus with DJI Go App, .MOV, HEVC, hvc1, 1920x1080p, 60fps.

Premiere always worked fine for me, don't really know what to do but I can't work like this...

Thanks!

HandBrake didn't work fine at all. Not doing the same but not working fine, very slow. But to change GPU Aceleration to Software seems to work better. Not fine at all, but better. I'll keep trying, thanks!
