Problemas with premiere pro timeline

Since yesterday, something happened in my Premiere that I don't know exactly what it was. I press the space bar to run the video, so far so good, but when I press space to pause the video my premiere simply selects the clip, does anyone know how to solve this? it's slowing me down a lot
