Program-monitor overlays are missing after latest update. Anybody?

Hi all.

I rely on these overlays as a critical feature. They appear to be broken in PPro CC 2017.

I didn't change any settings, but now I don't see them on the program monitor. I've double-checked all the settings, and they seem to be correct. Screen shot attached.

Anybody have an insight here?  Thanks!

its happend with me, i kept trying to enable and disable and change the overly setting 5-8 times and play the video sometimes during these attempts until Premeire got the message and show the error message "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down ", i opened the same project again and will ask you to save in different name , then when i enabled the overlay its was back normal .

give it a shot maybe .

FYI during my attempts i enabled two checkboxes in the overlay setting , enable overlay for transmit and include 4:3

Update: I discovered another peculiarity about this bug.  To see if the overlays would work on the source monitor, I clicked on its "wrench" button and enabled overlays. They then appeared in the program monitor (but not the source monitor)!

But unfortunately even that was only temporary. They're now missing again, and no amount of twiddling the setting under either monitor will bring them back.

This release looks terrible so far. On first use, I've found two major bugs in basic functionality that drastically impede getting work done.

Likely Mac-specific then.

I'm seeing the overlays every once in a great while as I work. Annoying.

For the record - I experience this intermittent  issue on WIN 10 - CC2017.

I'm on a Mac and I'm missing the overlays, too. They only show up once in a while. It's a big problem in my workflow and it's been like this since the last 7-8 month. None of the latest updates has fixed this...
