"Selection Follows Playhead" not working in cc2017 v11.0

Explorer ,
Nov 14, 2016 Nov 14, 2016

I've come to rely on this feature, but it's stopped working in the latest release. I know about the option under the sequence menu and it's turned on.

Can anyone help?

Same here. Everything seems set up the same as Premier 2015, but this feature doesn't seem to be working.

Edit: I got it working. Make sure you "Toggle track targeting" for the video tracks you are currently working with. As in, make sure the V1, V2.. blocks are blue in your timeline window. Hope this helps.

WIN10; 64bit; 16GB; GeForce GTX 760; 4GHz (Everytning possible updated to current; media cache cleared)

Same here. Started when I downloaded the latest version yesterday. Follow Play Head does not work, even when checked. Ironically, this latest download was issued to fix "critical bug fixes". (1 step forward; 2 steps back - as usual. C'mon Adobe!) See below...

We are recommending that all users update to the latest version of Premiere Pro (11.1.1), which contains critical bug fixes.
The 11.1.1 bug-fix update for Premiere Pro addresses an issue with the recently introduced feature to clear the Media Cache Folder automatically after 90 days. The update changes the behavior of the media cache deletion.
You can install the update through the Creative Cloud desktop application, or you can check for new updates from within any Creative Cloud application by choosing Help > Updates.

For more information, please read the following post: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/premiere-pro-11-1-1-update/
