Hi everyone,

I searched but I couldn't find any solution. it seems to be a bug from many years ago but is still there.

I have whole edit in premiere of raw dng that I need to replace with dynamic link for croma keying.

problem is when you want to do "replace with ae composition" after effects imports only the first frame and makes a composition with the duration of the clip but with a still frame.

Very frustating. does anyone know a solution or easy workaround?

Thanks,

Premiere Pro does not yet work properly with CinemaDNG.  Use Resolve instead.  It's free.

I would love to use resolve, but there a only two things holding me back to switch. First and most important dynamic links, second mercury playback, I can't output video full frame in resolve without a blackmagic card or output box.

Those issues aside, Premiere Pro does not work correctly with CinemaDNG.  Resolve does.

The only real workaround is to export the CinemaDNG clip to something like Cineform or DNxHD/R, and use that on your sequence for any clip you need to comp in Ae.

Everyting worked in/out points lenght, size. So it wasn't that bad, just a couple of clicks
