How to remove mosaic effects from the rest of the video timeframe even though the start and end keyframes have been set?

Taking a guess here:  It sounds like you want to use the Razor Tool where the mosaic should start and again where it should end (the result is called a Through Edit).  The mosaic would only be applied to the middle segment.

What do you mean by removing Mosaic effect from the rest of the video?

Do you want it to be there for some time and then make it disappear?

Wanted to apply the tracked masked path mosaic effect to a required time frame but the effect appeared throughout the video. Did not manage to delete the path from the rest of the video and created another layer to apply the effect instead as captured below.

Thank you everybody. I've managed to workaround a solution. Duplicated the video to another layer, trim it to the timeframe required and apply that effect to the layer. Just wondering if it could be done on the original layer without creating another though.

Using the Razor tool should have taken care of it on the same Video Track.
