Reset Premiere Pro CC panels to default settings

Participant ,

As usual I have been experimenting with the window panels by switching to 1001 different layouts  and now the panels are all over the place etc , and I can't get them back in order.  I have tried    windows  > workplaces  > editing > reset to saved layout   but this is just making things worse.

How do I rest the windows layout to the factory default window settings ?

Thanks very much.

or

Rename the "Layouts" folder in  the Documents Folder/Adobe/Premiere Pro/11.0/Profile/Layouts and relaunch Premiere Pro.

Open Premiere while holding down shift + alt.

If you want to make changes to a workspace dont save to this workspace but save it as a new workspace.

If you make changes to this new one, you then can save it to this workspace.

This way the original workspaces stay untouched.

Here is what I think I did wrong :

(1 ) I  created a new layout .

(2)  Went to  editing  >  Reset to Saved layout

So the windows are automatically resetting to the saved layout that I created ,  instead of resetting to the the factory default EDITING  window.

Chisnamic: Try this...

Close Premiere Pro.

Go to the following location on your machine:

     In Windows, C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\

In Mac, Documents > Adobe > Premiere Pro

Rename the 11.0 folder to Old_11.0

Launch Premiere Pro.

Ceate a new project (do not open old projects).

In the menu bar, choose Window > Workspace and uncheck Import Workspace from Projects.

Open the old project & check the issue.
