Hi community!
First time posting on here so please excuse any errors / faux pas' and thanks in advance to anyone willing and able to help with my infuriating-yet-seemingly-minor issue.
My problem is that I sorted through an hour of video, handpicking the best clips. To keep it organised, I then dragged the selected parts of the clips onto a separate bin on the project panel. However, I mistakenly dragged the video only to the bin and now I'm left with a whole bunch of my best clips without audio.
I searched the forums for an answer and only came upon was to match frame, however, this just opens up the clip that was created in the project panel (which has no audio). I suspect this happens because instead of dragging the parts of the clips straight to the timeline, I dragged them to the project panel, which created a new 'clip' and now when I attempt to match frame it opens up the clip that has been created from the source, rather than the source itself.
Is there a way of matching it with the source media at all and restoring the corresponding audio?
MANY thanks to the generous saint who can help me with this!
Thank you so much! You have saved me hours of work re-logging video.
For future reference:
1. Select the files you want to restore.
2. Right Click and choose "Make Offline."
3. Choose "Media Files Remain on Disk."
4. Right click the same selected files and choose "Link Media."
5. A list of the clips pops up. Click "Locate."
6. Unless you've moved the source file(s), it should know where they are. If not, you will need to browse to the original file on disk.
7. For me, that file is selected automatically

Hi there,
right-click on your clip, select "break link with media" (or something in that taste, my Premiere being in another language) and then right-click again on your clip, but this time select "Link media" and find your clip with audio.

That's it!
