save notification

hello, sometimes when i want to save a project,  im getting the following message: ''this project file has been modified since last save, do you wish to continue?''

i mean, why on earth would i ever want to save a non-modified project? sure if you messed things up you may want to reconsider saving but even then, why do i just get this sometimes and not always?

I'm not sure if I'm reading a typo or not but in your message you say, "this project file has been modified since last save, do you wish to continue".

The way I'm reading it is that it IS a modified project.  A little unclear.  If it's prompting you that the project has changed, naturally you'd want to save.

Can you clarify?

Eric, this happens when you click save inside Premier at least for me in the 2018 version. wondering if it has something to do with windows permissions.

Hey Guys,

I'm getting this as well. Just updated to Premier CC (2018) and everytime I hit ctl-s I get this dialog box with cancel already highlighted.

Never got this with the 2017 version. Any thoughts?

Not a deal breaker, but would like to find a fix.

"This project has been modified since last save. Do you want to continue?"

When it says this to me, I know it is not auto-saving. Well I mean I also know because I don't see it saving. Point being it is keeping me from having auto-save. I don't understand how to fix this either. It always appears fixed then it'll appear again.

I'm using Premiere CC 2019 v13.0.2
