Screen capture are pixelating/skipping in premiere playback.

 During playback the image seems to be damaged, but at different times during each playbck, which doesnt make sense. I was doing this a week ago and it worked fine.

Can't see what your settings in the Program monitor are ... Full or 1/2 or what for resolution?

And what is your playback quality set to?

screen recordings are often variable frame rate (as opposed to a constant frame rate).  Might try convertin the file with a program called handbrake. https://handbrake.fr

Perfect! That was it. I just used media encoder and that rid me of the issue.
