Hi everyone
I have used quicktime to screen record on my macbook. When importing the footage into Premiere pro it looks good. I have sped up the footage by x2. Once exported the footage is glitchy and not smooth at all.
I thought it may have been because I was using my hard drive so started again and saved the footage to my desktop but the same issue again. I have a feeling it may be something to do with frame sampling? All other footage looks great (for example intro and outro) except the screen recording.
I'm using Macbook 15 inch Mid 2017.
Thank you.

I got it to work right after dropping my screen recording right into Encoder and messing with the settings. I did H.264 with Max. Bit Depth, VBR1 passes 15-25 for top and bottom and that's with 1080p recordings. I shrunk it to that, but they're actually bigger. They work wonderfully now.

Hi Richard M Knight, @Altonmitchell @citicati ,
Sorry for this problem. We have improved this workflow in the latest beta builds. Now you should be able to work with screen recordings directly in Premiere Pro without seeing any glitches, rather than first transcoding them to other formats.
You can download the latest Premiere Pro Beta build from Creative Cloud --> Beta apps --> Premiere Pro (Beta).
https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/creative-cloud-public-beta.html
Please let us know how it goes in the beta build. This is also on track to be available in normal builds. We will update you soon. I hope this will help.
If you still see this issue in beta builds, please share your original footage(screen-recording). We will check it at our end and take quick action.
Thanks,
Mayjain
