SDK: Copy and paste markers from clip to sequence using script

Participant ,

I was wondering if there was a script that can copy and paste Markers?

Specifically, taking clip markers and copying them to the parent sequence.

I saw a post about it here , but thought there might a way to do using Premiere's SDK/Scripting

Thanks

There is no way to copy markers in script in Premiere.
Paste scripts can be pasted in one batch if applied with reference to the link below.

Thanks, so surely a script could read existing marker data, then loop through that array and create replicant markers?

Excuse me. You may have a habit because you are translating a language. The link script simply adds marker data to the clip or sequence. Premiere can output the marker data in CSV format, but the marker data cannot be obtained with a script. Therefore, copy and paste is not possible with just a script.

Ah I see. So sequence markers can be read eg: app.project.activeSequence.markers; , but clip markers can not be read?

I did not know. You can get sequence markers. Thank you for teaching me.

My last reply in the thread below is a workflow that converted sequence markers to clip markers in CC2018. The language is Japanese. https://community.adobe.com/t5/Premiere-Pro/シーケンスマーカーをクリップマーカーに一括変換したい/td-p/10156615

Just thought I'd bump this in 2024 and hope that maybe now there is a way to do this?
