Ok so this seems like an issue with the program, it's happened to me twice now and it makes editing way more annoying.
Essentially in the project tab, you can search by file name right? I import all of my files as one folder that I typically reuse for a long of my videos. I can open that folder and browse it but its hundreds of files so I tend to use search for stuff. However I can't search for anything anymore. As soon as I put in anything pop nothing is there. Some images are provided to help with understanding what I mean.
I'm using an example file name called "00fd...." which is at the top of the folder for the easiest explanation.
Version of premiere: 24.6.1 (build 2)

Hi @Oscar34640988esa4 -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?
Can you try holding down "shift" while launching premiere and select the checkbox "Reset app preferences".
Can you try downloading the current version 25.1 and let us know if you still see this issue. I can't reproduce it in 25.1 or the current LTS version 24.6.4

Ok so I did download the most recent version and it works again, however I do want to mention that on my old version this didn't do this for every project, just some of the projects, and it's really annoying because it's random.
What was the app preference that could've accidentally be changed that caused this so I can double check it's off?
Thank you for your help man.
