Searching down multiple folders in Media Browser

Is there a way to do it? From what I'm finding, you can only search within whatever folder you're in, no further down the directory. I need to pull a number of specific clips from different folders and it's taking forever and I know it doesn't need to.

Can you be a bit more specific which Adobe product you are using so this can be moved to the proper product support forum?

It's not possible from within the Media Browser window, as far as I know, James ...

Possible workarounds:

If your search parameters are always the same then you could set up operating system level Smart Folders/Save Searches to preselect the files you'll need... then you can access those folders through Premiere's Media Browser window.

Otherwise, maybe try using Premiere's "File > Import" method for this particular situation instead? On a Mac, that uses a standard OS X "open" window, so you can make use of the general search tool embedded in that window. Or you could import using 'Drag and Drop' to bring files directly into your project from a Finder window (Mac) or File Explorer window (Windows). That method would allow you make use of the operating system's built in search tools, to display only the files you want/need.

Hope it helps

Andy
