Hello, I've opened an old project to find all my SLOG-2 footage has level changes in imported media (once within Premiere).
When I look at the footage in Finder (I'm on a Mac) I can see the original levels, but in premiere everything as gone wrong.
Consequently all my Lumetri grades are out and I desperately need to render some re-versions for a client.
This is a bug right? Anyone know a work around?
FYI this is in BOTH CC 2018 AND CC 2019.
I've attached a screengrab so you can see the original footage (right) and the footage in Premiere (left).
Very annoyed. Thanks, Ian.

The only thing that as another use I could suggest on is how they look in PrPro, really. So showing the other player is perhaps confusing to the issue.
It seems your main point is that their is a change in how they are viewed within PrPro ... and ... you just updated your OS to a new version. Many Mac users have found big differences between them, some not so much. I know of a couple shops that posted on here they are staying away from Mojave for now. So ... that might be the issue there. "Old project" ... as in from what version, and have you changed hardware since?
I would note, never check you media in QuickTime player ... it's color-stupid, pays no attention to color flags/tags in video file headers.
So ... you cannot possibly say that QuickTime shows you the "real" file ... it hasn't a clue.
What does that look like in say VLC or PotPlayer players?
And naturally ... what's your monitor, how's it profiled and calibrated ... ?

Thanks Neil,
But the point is that the levels of the files have changed. Regardless of which software I use to view them, in Premier they are changed. Thereby throwing out all my previous Lumetri work.
I've recently updated OS to Mojave and wonder if somewhere deep in the Adobe/OS coding the SLOG-2 colour levels have been affected?
Thanks, Ian.

Yes, I think it is Mojave that has screwed me.
The issue is i worked on this pject over the summer and delivered to a happy client.
NOW I re-open it and all the sLog2 files have different levels only WITHIN Premiere (that was why I added that screenshot). With no other changes being made to the project in the between time.
The only difference is I'm now on Mojave so Sherlock Holms would suggest there lies the issue.
It is a massivve blow though as the only work-around I can use, is to go thorough and re-grade!
I've tried offlining the clips and re-linking, but the problem remains.
And FYI, in the same project I have Slog-3 footage from a FS7 and all is fine. It's just the slog2 footage.
Has no-body else reported this?

There's been sporadic issues with Mojave ... various things, that are all over the map. Fixed by reverting to HS.
However ... others have been working away.
Very frustrating when there's such differences.
