Hello,
I'm editing footage from a Sony FX3. I have a shot that's 4k120 XAVC S-I. When editing, it plays okay - not great, not so bad - especially when I set my Program Monitor to 1/2 resolution (sequence is 3840x2160). Now, I'm not super happy with performance; it does slow down the machine.
I've rendered it multiple times in multiple ways, and have a problem every time.
I tried taking the whole shot, interpreting it to 24 FPS, and rendering that 4k sequence into a ProRes 422 file. Failed; the whole file is the first frame of the shot.
I've rendered the whole shot in H264 2-pass, max render quality. The slow motion shots are frozen for 1+ second then play normally (obviously not how I want to deliver).
I've rendered out my whole short in H264 1-pass. The slow motion shots came through okay, but the shots before it lag and break sync.

I don't care how I have to transcode it, as long as I don't lose resolution or frames, but I cannot find a reliable way for this file to play! Handbrake maybe?

Okay, clearing Media Cache looks like it probably worked.
