Source and Program Monitor Freeze After few minutes

Hi guys, I've had a really frustrating experience today and today only with Premiere.

Here's the situation:
If I reinstall Premiere (Any version available in Creativecloud) everything works fine for about 10 minutes. After a few minutes, the program window and the source window will freeze video playback and functionality through the space, but keybinds still work (Aka I can still use J,K,L, to playback stuff), but I can only hear audio and can't see any video playback as it's frozen on a frame.

I've reinstalled multiple times, deleted my adobe documents, tried changing from cuda to opencl to software, tried Adobe cleaner tool, I've tried using different footage, I've tried updating and rollingback drivers on anything I can think that would be related (Nvidia drivers, intel graphics drivers, etc) I've tried everything I can think of and everything I've been able to find by searching around.

I'm running:
i5-840016gb RAM
GTX 1080
256gb SSD for Windows & Premiere & footage

Version 13.1.1 of Premiere currently, but have tried every every version on CC i can download.

I'm stumped and of course this happens at crunch time. New job, first project, nothing working. Sweeeeet haha.

No idea what to do. Let me know what logs and stuff you may need if you have any ideas.

@MTheisDV thank you!  I was having the exact same problem as the OP while running Premiere Pro Version 23.5.0 (build 56) on my MacBook Pro M1 machine.

After not being able to execute #1 on your list, I did execute #2 "uncheck the Composite in Linear Color checkbox in sequence settings... and things have been running smoothly for over an hour now!  No freezes at all!!  I do like to test one fix at a time so I never even got to step #3, which would have disabled my external monitor anyway - so all worked out well.

I realize that simply unchecking Composite in Linear Color checkbox in sequence settings might not work for everyone but it's such a simple fix that it's certainly worth trying!  Thanks again!

probably your media files and project files are living on the same drive as OS and Premiere, try moving them to a seperate drive

FIXED! The answer for me was to open premiere immediately hold down Shift+Alt+Windows to reset preferences and cache plugin. it brought up a prompt asking to reset those 2 things, hit yes. BOOM working again, for now...

Has anyone found a solution yet? It's driving me crazy and sometimes kills my will to edit. My problem occurs whenever I push a clip into the source monitor and then into my timeline. I tried every solution mentioned but the problem persists. I am attaching a captured video from the problem happening which I can easily replicate at this point in the simplest of a project.
Everything is up to date, drivers Premiere and my system specs are those shown below.
The files I am editing are proxy files without me having the original files. It's a workflow I have with some clients that can't afford uploading a lot of GBs to send.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
MAINBOARD:  Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus
SSD - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB (windows)
SSD - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB (projects)
SSD - Kingston 250GB (Premiere Cache files)
RAM: HyperX Fury 32GB DDR4-3200MHz
GPU: Asus GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB ROG Strix EVO OC
PSU: Corsair TX-M Series TX750M
