Since upgrading to Premeire Pro CC v22.2.0, I have not been able to generate transcription/captions. I discovered that my language packs were no longer installed. When attempting to reinstall the language pack from the CC desktop app, the install crashes. Below are the only error message I receive.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere entirely and the issue persists. Are there any other ways to install language packs? Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I cannot find any information regarding this particular issue.

Hi Shaina5E76,
Sorry. Can you try updating Premiere Pro to the current version, then installing the language packs? These language packs were not available until the version 22.2 release. I hope this info helps.
Thanks,
Kevin

Shaina,
I don't recall this error message. I assume that is from your attempt to install the language pack in the Cloud desktop.
English should be installed by default, I thought. What language is your PR installed as?
What operating system are you on?
You said, "Since upgrading to Premeire Pro CC v22.2.0, ....I discovered that my language packs were no longer installed."
But as Kevin says, language packs (meaning local transcription as opposed to cloud based) was new in PR 22.2.0. So they would not have been installed before.
In any event, I get that it is not working and you are not able to download the language packs.

Thanks for the quick replies!
Kevin - I am running on v22.2.
Stan - I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and PR is set to English. (It should be noted that I am on a corporate issued computer and am restricted from upgrading my operating system. Also, all of my coworkers are working on the same OS and same PR versions and not experiencing this issue, so it seems like an isolated incident.)
What's confusing is that I don't have any languages avaialbe when trying to transcribe/caption (including English). All languages have the cloud icon. Then when trying to install the languages, that's when I get the "Installation Failed" / "could not be added" error messages as described above.
I am stumped.

Shaina, I had a sneaking suspicion about the corporate connection, when I later saw this thread:
