SpeedGrade not showing up in CC apps list

New Here ,
May 13, 2019 May 13, 2019

I'd like to download and install SpeedGrade 2019, but it does not appear in my apps list in the CC Windows app or in a web listing of CC apps. I found FAQs that said some apps will not appear if your computer is too old or lacks proper hardware. However I've got a top of the line HP laptop that is only a few months old. I have and run the latest versions Premier Pro and AfterEffects  without issue an so I can see no reason why SpeedGrade 2019 would not be available.

Hi Greg,

SpeedGrade was discontinued after 2015 version 9.0 and now it has been removed from the Creative Cloud. So, if it was not installed before you might not be able to see it in CC app.

OK, so is the best Adobe option for color correction/grading to now use the Lumetri controls in After Effects?

You can use After Effects or Premiere Pro.

I have a few articles on my blog about how the Lumetri controls work, which may make it easier for you to start working with it. The newest version of Lumetri is getting "close enough" that I'm actually doing a series of tutorials for mixinglight.com on how to color correct/grade in Premiere Pro/Lumetri. That's a subscription training service, but my first couple are up outside the paywall. I've another pair of videos for that site on color management within Premiere up through HDR work that will be up soon, also outside the paywall
