Stop having closed captions automatically insert into my timeline

With Premiere 2021 everytime I insert a clip that has CC on it adds CC to my timeline. Is there a way to stop this. I dont want the captions off these clips.

Deselect the 'source side' track selector (green arrow) and the CC shouldn't cut into your sequence. You can also just hide all caption tracks and dont worry about cutting in the CC's. Once your edit is complete, just delete the CC track.

What version of Premiere are you running because I do not have those options of icons showing, if I do have that option where do I turn lthem on

Hi. That option appears after add captions to your sequence.
