Is it possible to take photos every certain time (every 5 or 10 seconds) automatically from the video in premiere pro cc 2018?

Can it be done simply with premiere or is a plugin necessary?

The objective is to make a photo gallery automatically.
Thanks for the help.

Hi GiovanniS,

Is it possible to take photos every certain time (every 5 or 10 seconds) automatically from the video in premiere pro cc 2018?

Not to my knowledge. You could do this manually. Perhaps a keyboard macro program could speed this up.

Thanks,
Kevin

couldn't you use posterize time effect to show a frame every few seconds? like 1 fps would be 1 frame a second? then duplicate effect a few times?

then export out as an image sequence?

I know AE has timeremapping with a simple formula hold keyframes expression.

Try it handcraft-like:

Set up a adjustment layer on V2 with length of 9 frames.

Duplicate and leave 1 frame space inbetween.

Duplicate both and leave 1 frame space and so on.

When fullfilled whole video with layers, select all and toggle with "alt" "arrow down" / "alt" "arrow up".

Now select all adj layer pieces and do "ripple delete".

Fine.
